PRO-LIFE MINISTRY

Pro-Life is supported by the Respect Life office of the diocese. Our goal is to promote the sanctity of human
life through education and legislative advocacy in the parish community. We are a ministry of prayer,
education and formation for the defense of human life from the moment of conception to natural death
and for the preservation of the dignity of every human person gifted by God with life and made in God's image.
We are here to provide education, pastoral care, prayer and advocacy for the unborn, the elderly, the poor,
the disabled, the terminally ill and those on death row.

Please contact Candace Nile in the parish office at 386-789-9990 if you or your ministry would like information about these important issues: abortion, capital punishment, cloning, stem cells, Catholic living wills, euthanasia and assisted suicide.

Lastly, meet Hope-the Saint Clare Prayer Bear. Hope is the symbol of our new
Pro-Life Ministry. She sheds a single tear for all the unborn children who will
never hold her tight, or kiss her goodnight. Whenever you see anything in the
parish sponsored by the Pro-Life Ministry, you will see Hope. And when you see
our prayer bear, remember, there's Hope, and please pray that the day will come
when abortion will no longer be used as birth control, when we will have respect
for the elderly, and those who are facing death will do so with dignity.
