Ministry to the Sick is for caring individuals who have been called to share God's Work
and Holy Eucharist with those confined in a hospital, nursing home or private home.
It is a way to keep the sick and shut-in connected with their faith community. A requirement for this ministry is certification as an Extraordinary
Minister of Holy Communion. After a short mentoring program, they will receive
training and certification by the Orlando Diocese for three years to minister in their parish.
MTS meet at St. Clare on the second Saturday of the month
at 8:30 AM (SEPTEMBER THROUGH MAY). Contact the parish office for more information.
